Message from Patron
Welcome to the Association of Ex-Students of La Salle and Sacred Heart official website where our lost souls come back to reflect on where we all come from, just to remind us how far we have achieved.
I would like to congratulate the President and Members of his executive committee especially the Webmaster for implementing this website successfully. It is timely for the Association of Ex-Students of La Salle and Sacred Heart to have a website to meet the challenge of the information technological age in this new millennium and to disseminate information via the electronic media not only to its members but also to all ex-students of La Salle and Sacred Heart who are yet to become members of the association.
With the inception of this website, useful information will be disseminated through this website, which includes history of the association, aims and objectives, news and events, amongst others.
There is much more in this alumni website than just information about the association. This website would help to foster closer relationship in keeping with the La Sallian spirit not only among the ex-students of La Salle and Sacred Heart in Sabah in particular and in Malaysia in general but also worldwide. For all ex-students who are residing overseas, they can now keep in touch with fellow ex-students in Malaysia, particularly those in Sabah. The website would also help keep members abreast with the association's latest news, happenings and future events and activities.
I hope you will find your visit to this website worthwhile, interesting and fruitful.
Sincerely yours in our La Sallian family,
DATUK BROTHER CHARLES M. O'LEARY F.S.C., P.G.D.K., A.S.D.K, A.M.N

President's Foreword
Dear Fellow La Sallians, Sacred Heartians, friends and visitors,
Once again, I bid one and all a warm welcome to our newly refurbished web site. Through the tremendous effort of our Webmaster, Mr. Julian Wong, he has once again come out with a website that is both dynamic and user friendly. Dynamic in a sense that it is always evolving and improving with the times. I urge all La Sallians all over the world to visit our website and to inform their friends and classmates of its existence.
Since my last address in the Alumni’s website more than two years ago following my election as President, a lot of events have taken place. Notably among the events that have taken place is the completion and official opening of the Students’ Activity Centre at S.M. La Salle, Junior Block on 23 July 2005 by none other than the personage of our very own La Sallian from the Year of 1967, Tuan Yang Terutama, Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Datuk Panglima Ahmadshah Abdullah.
The Alumni also closed the chapter on the Centenary celebrations in 2004 with the successful organization of a climb to the top of Mount Kinabalu, thus fulfilling the theme of the Alumni’s celebration – “ From the tip of Borneo to the top of Borneo ”. Earlier in 2003, the Centenary celebration kicked off with a trip to the tip of Borneo at Simpang Mengayau in Kudat District.
In 2005, the Alumni made a long overdue visit to Asrama Butitin at Nabawan and were totally overwhelmed by the hospitality extended by Bro. Peter Phelan and his crew during the visit. The archaic Constitution of the Association has also been reviewed and revamped and the amended Constitution has been duly approved by the Registrar of Societies.
The Alumni have for so long aspired to have its very own building as a testimony of its presence in the state and for this purpose, a special sub-committee has been formed to make this aspiration a reality. Presently, the Alumni are studying the various options in respect of a suitable site for the Alumni building. If the need arise, we may call on all you La Sallians, far and wide, to once again demonstrate the unwavering La Sallian spirit and support. After all, are we not “SOMETHING MORE ???”
Also in the works are the enhanced benefits to being a Life Member of the Association which are slowly being implemented this year. Details of this will be widely disseminated through the web, so keep visiting your website for regular updates.
"ONCE A LA SALLIAN ALWAYS A LA SALLIAN"
Yours in the La Sallian Family
