Faith

Faith provides vision, vision which links to all reality to the spiritual. Faith helps La Salle to reframe street ragamuffins as children of God, object of his personal love and concern. He kept encouraging the Brothers to have a strong faith, to see their work as God's work.

Zeal

Zeal expresses our faith vision to others, especially those in greatest need.

For La Salle it was a passionate commitment to promote brotherhood within the classroom and outside. The Brother stood among his pupils as a brother, not above them as a master.

Community

La Salle promote close bonding among his teachers for their mutual support as well as for greater effectiveness, working 'together and by association'. The Brothers take a vow of association. A strong commitment to community is the heart of our La Sallian heritage.
